AI-first managed IT · in development
An AI support agent on every business computer.
ManagedPC.info is WeldonPC's AI-first managed service, now in development. A support agent will run on each of your computers, listen when someone asks for help, look at what's actually happening on the machine, and walk through the fix. It's being built on Claude, Anthropic's AI model, accessed through Anthropic's API.

- UserOutlook keeps asking for my password.
- AgentI can see Outlook is running and this computer signed in to Microsoft 365 this morning. Before I change anything: does this happen on any other computer?
- UserNo, just this one.
- AgentThen the saved sign-in on this machine is the likely cause. With your OK, I'll close Outlook, clear the stored Office sign-in, and reopen it so you can sign in once. Shall I go ahead?
Planned behaviour: the agent explains and asks before it changes anything.
The agent
What the agent is being built to do
One agent per computer, managed by WeldonPC. Planned capabilities:
-
Ask in plain words
People will describe the problem the way they'd tell a coworker.
-
Look before it answers
It's being designed to check the computer's actual state, not guess from the description.
-
Explain, then ask
It's meant to say what it found and what it proposes, and wait for a yes before changing anything.
-
Everyday fixes
Aimed at the common tickets: sign-in prompts, printers, slow startups, updates, Wi-Fi, email setup.
-
Knows when to hand off
When a problem needs hands or judgment, it's meant to say so and pass it to a person.
-
One bill per computer
Planned as a monthly subscription per endpoint. Details at launch.
Three steps
How it will work
-
Install on each endpoint.
When it launches, you'll add the ManagedPC agent to each business computer you want covered.
-
Someone asks for help.
The person at the computer will open the agent and describe what's wrong.
-
Diagnose, explain, fix or hand off.
The agent will work through it with them, one confirmed step at a time, or tell them plainly that a technician is needed.
Modelled on how WeldonPC already supports customers remotely: today a WeldonPC technician gives you a session code, you run WeldonPC's support tool, and the technician connects and works on the problem with you. The agent aims to bring that same step-by-step style to an AI.
The model
Built on Claude, by Anthropic
The agent's reasoning is planned to run on Claude, an AI model made by Anthropic, through Anthropic's API. WeldonPC chooses the model for each kind of task and is responsible for the agent and the service.

Where things stand
Today
- This page.
- The plan: an AI support agent for each business computer, from WeldonPC.
- WeldonPC's existing human services: repair, managed IT and remote support.
Not yet
- The agent. There is nothing to download or install.
- Signup and pricing. Both are announced at launch.
- A launch date. One hasn't been set.
When it launches, the agent's answers come from AI and can be wrong. It won't replace a backup, and it isn't a substitute for a technician on hardware problems.
